Wes Craven's Former LA Home Will Make You 'Scream'

shutterstock_290281913Late director Wes Craven’s home isn’t on Elm Street, and it’s definitely not a nightmare.

The Hollywood Hills compound is a mid-century modern delight, with an open floor plan, exposed-beam ceilings and walls of windows that reveal sweeping views of Los Angeles. Actor Steve McQueen lived here before Craven and his wife, film producer Iya Labunka, who is listing it for $3.295 million.

You enter the 3-bedroom, 3-bath home after walking past a Zen fountain surrounded by greenery. The yard also includes a garden with fountains, a pergola and a saltwater pool and spa.

The master suite boasts a fireplace, a spa bath with a giant jetted tub and an open shower, plus a sitting area, large closet and patio access. The home includes two offices with private patios, and separate guest quarters with a private entrance.

The listing agents are Josh and Matt Altman of The Altman Brothers/Douglas Elliman.
