Here’s a home invasion that rapper Ice-T would welcome. Now that he and Coco Austin have a baby and a new home, the couple is ready to unload their New Jersey penthouse with views of New York City. The talk show hosts are asking $1.098 million with listing agent Jason Pierce of Prominent Properties/Sotheby’s International Realty.
The 2-bedroom, 2-bath space makes up for its relatively modest 2,161 square feet with immense vertical space, including a two-story living area, as well as opulent finishes. Gleaming Brazilian cherry floors in the living spaces complement a black onyx kitchen floor and countertops.
Floor-to-ceiling windows, glass banisters, balconies and a private terrace enhance the home’s light-filled, spacious vibe. A converted second bedroom now serves as a giant walk-in closet - a Coco touch. In the family’s new home, the model’s shoes alone have their own closet.
Ice-T also has his own predilections, including a taste for high-tech garages. The one in their new place boasts cars secreted away underground, which he says is “good for the IRS, too.” The condo that’s on the market doesn’t have all that, but it does have two deeded parking spaces - a big plus in a market where parking is hard to find.
