Original post 6/23/15: Musician Pink (aka Alecia Moore), her motocross star husband Carey Hart, and their daughter Willow are moving on. They’ve just listed their Malibu beach home for $13.995 million.
The couple purchased the home in late 2010, when Pink was pregnant with Willow. They spent $11.8 million on the property, which was new at the time. The "Balinese-style contemporary" architecture showcases ocean views over a terraced backyard with numerous large windows.
With 5 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, 2 half-baths, a 5-car garage, and a guest apartment with a full kitchen, it seems unlikely that the home is too small for the family. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with 2 islands, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, and full Viking appliances, as well as a fireplace.
The house offers private beach access and coveted keys to Little Dume beach. The Point Dume area is popular among celebrities, including supermodel Cindy Crawford, who recently moved into the neighborhood. If the surf is too rough, the 1.19-acre lot also includes a swimming pool with a private cabana and spa.
While it's not clear why Pink and Hart are moving on from the luxurious home, it is clear that the next resident will thoroughly enjoy life in this oasis.
