In Hollywood, real estate is its own kind of entertainment. The homes are stunning. And the names are huge. It takes a special kind of agent to thrive in this world – someone with savvy, with smarts, with humility.
And then there are the agents of “Bajillion Dollar Propertie$,” a new original series from Seeso. These hilarious deal-makers are more than willing to spill stories. Like the one about the rapper who needed parking for his submarine – waaaay up in the hills. Or the one about the sultan who wanted to buy Stars Hollow, even though it is the set for a TV show and not an actual place. He got it too, minus any Gilmores — we think.
As you've probably guessed, the Bajillion Dollar agents are here for your amusement. And they're played by gifted comedians including Paul F. Tompkins (Dean Rosedragon, head of Platinum Realty), Dan Ahdoot, Tawny Newsome, Mandell Maughan, Ryan Gaul, Drew Tarver and Tim Baltz.
And then there's Gary Gold, a real Hollywood real estate agent. He's worked with huge stars, but keeps that to himself, like he's in the running for the Oscar for Best Discretion.
So of course we had to send Gold to meet those crazy kids at Platinum on their turf — a soundstage — just to see what would happen. See for yourself if "Goldy" holds his own.
