“Scandal” star Kerry Washington and her husband, retired NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha, moved through this Hollywood Hills home faster than Olivia Pope could say, “It’s handled.” The couple bought the compound last year from actress Nicole Sullivan for $1.865 million and listed it this fall for $2.695 million.
The French country-style estate already has a buyer, according to the Los Angeles Times. It includes a light-filled main house plus chauffeur’s quarters and a guesthouse for 3,855 square feet of living space.
Built in 1926, the main home has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a gym, with sweeping hill views including the Hollywood sign in the distance.
Outdoors are a swimming pool with a large adjoining deck and a covered living area with a television and fire pit.
The listing agent is James Foreman of Sotheby’s International Realty.
The couple still own a home Asomugha bought in 2010, before they were married, on Manhattan Beach. Washington is set to play Anita Hill in next year’s HBO movie, “Confirmation.”
