The views from the hilltop are incredible — vistas of a lake, a snow-capped mountain range and the gleaming city of Seattle.
Not one to upgrade too regularly, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella lived in this mid-century modern home for more than a decade before selling it this month for $2.775 million. Just up the hill from Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates’ neighborhood, the 4,050-square-foot home is striking, with two-story glass walls and exposed wood and metal beams that herald the high architectural style of 1963, the year the home was built.
Situated on nearly half an acre above the treetops, the cloud developer’s former 4-bedroom, 4-bath home boasts hardwood floors, an open floor plan and a balcony den overlooking an expansive great room. The cozier family room off the kitchen features a metal-surrounded fireplace and cabinets in warm wood tones.
The listing agent was Tere Foster of Avenue Properties, the Los Angeles Times reported.
