While “Scandal” fans wait to see whether President Fitz rekindles the flame with Olivia Pope in the series’ fifth season this fall, the actor who plays him, Tony Goldwyn, has picked up new digs in Manhattan.
Goldwyn and his wife, production designer Jane Musky, paid $1.785 million this summer for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath duplex off Central Park West, as The Real Deal first reported.
It’s on the opposite coast from where “Scandal” films, so it’s possible the apartment is just for visits or a home for one of the couple’s two adult daughters.
The top-floor duplex features a wood-burning fireplace with a marble mantle, a high-end kitchen and a renovated bathroom with medicine cabinets equipped with a built-in nightlight and a defogger. The master suite boasts skylights, two custom closets and a south-facing patio.
The listing agent was Robyn Frank of Corcoran Group Real Estate.
