Prince’s home from the 1984 cult classic “Purple Rain” is on the market for $110,000 — and it’s looking for more than a weekend lover.
It was a humble home even then, when “The Kid” was struggling to escape his parents’ dysfunction. Now the listing by Nancy Petran of Coldwell Banker Burnet says the home “needs to be rehabbed.” It was first reported by Minnesota Public Radio’s blog.
Built in 1913, the 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home sits on a quiet street near the light rail line in Minneapolis’ Longfellow neighborhood.
Let’s hope someone goes crazy and fixes it right up.
