The beauty of renting is the flexibility it affords renters to relocate - and they know exactly which cities they would like to call home.

Nashville and Raleigh both offer a low cost of living and temperate climate, which may account for their leading the list of cities renters most want to relocate to, according to Zillow Research data. Less affordable metros that offer booming job markets also make the list.

Here’s a look at rentals in the top 10 cities in the U.S. where surveyed renters want to move.

Nashville, TN

This modern 1-bedroom has all of the basics that renters want: updated appliances, granite countertops, charming hardwoods, and large walk-in closets. With its location just one mile from downtown Nashville, you might even be able to hear some of the city's famous live music from your private balcony. Nashville is where 42.2 percent of surveyed renters most want to move.
