Amanda Pays, who played a geneticist on television — twice! — has landed a home with great genes in the San Fernando Valley. She and her husband, actor Corbin Bernsen, paid $1.275 million for the 2 bedroom, 2 bath mid-century modern home situated on nearly a half acre in Sherman Oaks, CA.
In classic mid-century style, it features beamed ceilings and walls of windows. The master suite boasts a fireplace and three walk-in closets.
It’s a good bet they couple will flip the home. In the past year, they’ve sold homes in Valley Village, Sherman Oaks and Toluca Lake — the latter to singer Katharine McPhee, according to Celebrity Address Aerial.
Pays played Dr. Tina McGee in the ’90s on the CBS series “The Flash” and again in the recent remake on The CW Television Network. Bernsen rose to fame as Arnie Becker on “L.A. Law.”
The listing agent for the home was Heidi Lake of Sotheby’s International Realty.
